The California Fire Exploring Association is happy to announce that applications to attend the 2020 Academy will be available January 1st, 2020. 

Please read the following paragraph as some steps and information regarding the application process have changed.

Explorers/Cadets and Advisors are ALL REQUIRED to submit on-line applications to participate in the Academy. There is supporting documentation and payment that must be submitted for both Explorers and Advisors. The “Advisor Information” tab as well as the “CFEA Explorers” tab contain all the necessary information for submitting applications packets to the CFEA.

Explorer application

CFEA only accepts applications on-line. Submission of an online application does not guarantee acceptance. Supporting documentation and payment must be submitted to be accepted into the Academy. The cost of the Academy Remains at $300 for Explorers/Cadets and $100 for Advisors. The fees cover all training activities, certificates, college credits, sleeping accommodations, food and other misc. items.
