How to Apply

There are five steps to the application process:

Please print this page out and check that all items have been completed and returned to your advisor.

If you have problems with the web-site please check with your advisor if he/she is unable to assist you contact Jason Weber by email jweber@cfea.net

1. Sign and return: Code of Conduct form
   
2. Sign and return to advisor: Academy Participation Agreement
3. Print and give to advisor: Advisor Certification
4. Forward a check made payable to CFEA for $250.00 to your advisor
5. Submit CFEA Explorer application electronically >> Go to Form
   

Your application will remain pending until processed by CFEA staff.

If you are interested in applying as a Captain or Chief Officer you must be recommended by your advisor, and have attended a previous academy. Applicants must also have a letter of recommendation from their advisor. Chief officer candidates must submit letter of intent and resume.
